Allen County’s iMap Consortium received a Special Achievement in GIS Award at the Esri International User Conference in San Diego, California held July 16.  The award acknowledges vision, leadership, hard work and innovative use of geographic information system technology.

We all want our children to be successful.  But what do kids need to succeed?  What are the building blocks that help children grow up to be caring, responsible, resilient adults?  Enrolling kids in various summer programs, like the the Allen County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, not only keeps them active, but also builds positive assets. A special series is being offered to help parents understand these assets, or building blocks, and why they are important.
