Employees of Allen County and the City of Fort Wayne have given the Red Cross the ability to provide life-saving blood to as many as 234 people in our community.

The Winter City-County Blood Drive concluded today with government employees donating 78 units of blood.

This was the third year that employees have participated in the winter drive, sponsored by the Allen County Board of Commissioners and the City of Fort Wayne.  Blood was collected in the Citizens Square Omni Room and at a Red Cross mobile blood unit located outside the City-County Building.

The City and County will conduct its next blood drive during the month of June.
