The Allen County Public Defender's Office provides criminal defense to indigent defendants in the courts of Allen County, Indiana as mandated by the U.S. Constitution, the Indiana Constitution, and Indiana law.
What We Do:
Public Defender attorneys and support staff seek to provide effective and high quality legal representation to accused indigent* people facing felony or misdemeanor charges, juvenile adjudication, and mental health commitments.
* Indigency is defined in I.C. 33-2.1-11-2 and following the guidelines of 42 U.S.C. 9902.
