DHS ISSUES NEW NTAS BULLETIN

 

WASHINGTON - January 18, 2020

 

The US Department of Homeland Security issued an NTAS BULLETIN on January 18, 2020 which highlights the general threat of terrorism in light of current geo-political develops worldwide.  This BULLETIN is effective until March 18, 2020.  The emphasis within this bulletin in on the general threats of terrorism and cyber-attacks by Iran.  The BULLETIN encourages citizens to be prepared for cyber disruptions in addition to heightening your personal safety posture.  Be Ready: Whenever, Wherever... in your hometown and while traveling... including on-line and within your cyber networks.

Since 2015, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has used this Bulletin to highlight the continuing terror threat to the U.S. Homeland. The United States is engaged in a generational fight against terrorists who seek to attack the American people, our country, and our way of life. An informed, vigilant and engaged public remains one of our greatest assets to identify potential terrorists and prevent attacks.
