HOW TO MAKE PARTIAL PAYMENTS

Full or partial payments can be made by depositing them in the drop box:

Located at the north side of the Allen County Courthouse on Main Street.

Located inside the Charles "Bud" Meeks Justice Center.

PAYMENT TYPES

Acceptable payment types include:

  • Cash
  • Money Order
  • Cashier's Check
  • Certified Check
  • Credit Card through Government Payment Services (see further details below)

How to Make Payments by Credit Card:

Credit card payments will be accepted through Government Payment Services.  To utilize this option, call toll free at 888-604-7888 (available 24 hours a day) or go online at www.GovPayNOW.com.

You must use payment location code #1048 and have confirmed the amount of fines and costs that you owe.

If you choose this option and pay online, a 3.5% service fee will be added to the amount of fines and costs that you owe.  If you pay by phone, a 5% service fee will be added to the amount of fines and costs that you owe.

Government Payment Services accepts the following Credit Cards:  Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.

*To ensure your payment is applied to the appropriate case, always include your Court Cause Number when you are mailing in or depositing a payment.  If the Cause Number is not included, the Clerk will apply your payment to the case that has the oldest payment order.

 

NOTE:  Social Security Numbers in court records must be excluded from public access according to the Indiana Supreme Court, Administrative Rule 9.  This data will be maintained confidentially by the Clerk of Courts.

Over $300 but less than $600

Over $600 but less than $900

NOTE:  If your fines and costs total more than $900, you can ask the staff at the Clerk's payment window for the minimum monthly amount.  If you pay more than the minimum monthly amount, the Clerk will apply the surplus to your outstanding fines and costs.

 

WARNING

If you choose to make partial payments, the Court expects you to follow the payment plan to which you have agreed.  Your failure to follow the payment plan may lead to additional penalties and/or potential jail time!
