Beginning in 2013, individuals and married couples may lose their homestead deduction if they do not complete the homestead verification form.  In 2009, HEA 1344-2009 was passed and requires that taxpayers verify their residency and eligibility for the homestead deduction.  If you have not completed and returned this form, please see Homestead Verification link below to complete the form.  Please click on the Homestead Verification Fact Sheet link below for further details regarding the Homestead deduction.
