The Human Resources Department is a service-oriented organization. As public servants we are ever mindful of our responsibility to provide courteous and efficient service to both the general public and to Allen County Government employees, elected officials and department heads.    These services include among other things, employment opportunities with the County, the job application and hiring process, implementing and monitoring employees' salaries as established by County Council and administering County personnel policies as established by the County Commissioners.  The Human Resources staff also assists County elected officials and department heads with the administration of the many excellent benefits provided to our employees.

WorkEthic Certificate
Allen County Government recognizes the WorkEthic Certificate Program.

The State of Indiana will award a WorkEthic Certificate to any eligible high school student who has successfully demonstrated the core traits sought by employers in the global economy: teamwork, discipline, commitment, responsibility and more. This certificate will serve as validation to employers that the student has successfully displayed strong work habits that will foster success in higher education and the workplace.
